2020年以后，河南普通高中招生英语考试将在保持大多数题型稳定的基础上调整原试卷的4种题型。

为深入贯彻《教育部关于进一步推进高中阶段学校考试招生制度改革的指导意见》相关精神，贯彻英语学科核心素养理念，保证小学、初中、高中英语教学的一致性，认真研究全国其他地区做法，广泛征求意见和参考的基础河南省基础研究室决定2020年后调整河南普通高中招生英语考试形式。

在保持大多数题型稳定的基础上，这次调整了原始试卷的四个题型。取消原始试验地的“单独选择题(共15分)”，将原始试验地的“填空”题从原来的10个小题(共10分)调整为15个小题(共15分)，原始试验地的“词语运用”(一小节)

此次调整的主要目的是遵循语言教育的普遍规律，强调语篇，强调运用，指导教师集中语言功能和语言运用，有效解决当前英语教学中普遍存在的“碎片化”、“浅银币”造成的“费时低效”问题。从未来英语考试的命题趋势来看，单项选择将逐渐被新的提问型取代。这种试卷结构的变化进一步降低了客观选择题的比例，提高了主观题的考察能力，顺应了时代对英语语言综合运用能力考试的要求。

第一节

10道小题，每道小题1分，共10分。题目要求和原来一样，替代语原来是12个，但现在变成了10个。降低了考试难度。
