跨越留学国外最后的一道门槛：留学推荐信和意向书怎么写才能得到国外认可，不靠模板靠逻辑。一位大四学生非常渴望留学国外，出国前作了大量学业准备工作，考试成绩还不错。而等到她看到周围同学收到OFFER（国外留学录取通知书），自己却没收到时，就非常着急了。对此这位学生找到其朋友对我说为什么没收到录取通知书，问题出在哪？怎么解决问题呢？……

学生说前后一共四次向国外一位推荐老师发送涉及留学推荐信的英语素材资料，最后没有回音了。听后，我要求学生拿来这些资料，看后明白了：英语素材资料是模板味道的中式英语，造成逻辑不清思路乱，外国人难看懂资料。

按英文逻辑思维及“明逻辑和暗逻辑”规则，来处理素材成功地完成了留学推荐信英语文件写作。对此学生看到后说道“这就是我想要表达的内容”。显然写作英语得有清晰逻辑思维的路径，才能有价值地推出具体原因及结果，由此通过逻辑思维百余中形式，带动规范地运用词法、句法，使文章叙述通畅、调理清楚、结构完整、论证符合要求。

To whom it may concern,

As Ms. Wang XX’s lecturer, I am familiar with her achievements, her character and her academic potential through Mr. Dong XX’s professor. That inspires me to be pleased to officially recommend her, my former student, as a diligently worthy candidate for your consideration in the School of your esteemed University as a newcomer, postgraduate, majoring in chemical engineering in Oct., 20--.

Ms. Wang ’s as a third-year undergraduate impressed me with her putting the theory of chemical engineering into my bio-technical research, attending a series of lectures that I delivered to students of master degree and doctor from the University of Technology on microbial fermentation's and the bio-fuel development, just as Mr. Dong said in his remark made about her.

As has been understood when I discussed academics with the professor Mr. Dong, Ms. Wang worked hard at conducting her two-year research successfully on experiment of the tensile strength of the cellular pore structure produced by the scco2, which could be regarded as being improved significantly and be compared with the finger-like pore structure obtained by the dry-wet phase inversion. In fact, I found it greatly appropriate for her to have more about solid basis knowledge of chemical engineering by her asking me about questions involved in microbial fermentation's and the bio-fuel development.

Her academic experience was said to be designed for use not only in the lab, but also in the scientific practice, I feel. As is shown in her experience of enduring two-year experimental research, the only way for Ms. Wang to succeed in experiment in question is through hard work and dogged perseverance.

Additionally, having got the scholarship for cultural and sports activities during her undergraduate years, Ms. Wang was seen to have a friendly, enthusiastic and cheerful disposition, for example, by playing tennis ball with me at break during my lec helps me realize she is also one of the most delightful women I have ever met which wins her popularity, among her classmates together with her teachers. As is learned through Professor Mr. Dong, she was recognized as behaving with integrity and as being a care-giving person to raise money for a patient, one of her classmates, and to teach disable children as dumb to be skilled at either doing some speaking or listening. That enables her to join volunteers helpfully in serving the 12th Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering Congress.

As is known to me, Ms. Wang should like to make a study on chemical engineering as a postgraduate. She is believed to have the subject-related basis knowledge and academical potential in this field. This means that I strongly recommend her, a very promising applicant, to the School of your esteemed University as one of postgraduates taking a chemical-engineering course in 20 --.
