常用介词辨析

1. beside, besides
　　beside 在…旁边 besides除…之外
　　I sit beside Mike.我坐在迈克旁边。
　　Besides this, I also live next to his home. 除此之外，我还住在他家隔壁。

2. besides, except

besides除了（包含除去的） except除了（不包含除去的）

I have a lot of friends besides Mike, but no one sits and lives so close to me except Mike.

除了迈克，我还有很多朋友，但除了迈克，没有人坐的和住的都离我这么近。

3. on the way, in the way, by the way, in this way
　　on the way 在路上 in the way 阻挡、妨碍
　　by the way 顺便 in this way 这种方式

By the way, there is a fallen tree in the way on my way to work.

顺便说一下，在我上班的路上有一棵倒下的树挡住了路。

I want to tell you why I was late in this way.

4. in the morning, on the morning
　　in the morning 在早上 on the morning 特指某一天的早晨

I do always exercise in the morning except once on the morning of July 1st.

5. by bus, on the bus
　　by bus 乘公交车 on the bus 特指某一辆车

He went to work by bus and left his bag on the bus this morning.

他今天早上坐公共汽车去上班，把包忘在公共汽车上了。

6. in the tree, on the tree
　　in the tree 指动物或人在树上，而on the tree 指果实、树叶长在树上

The monkeys in the tree are picking peaches on the tree.
